Juan Hurtado Diaz


 

Mr. Juan Hurtado was born in Tijuana, Baja California. He followed his professional studies at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, with special studies in Procedure Law. He has taken several courses from among his expertise including procedural aspects for court clerks from the State of Baja California's Supreme Court, and many others from the International Corporate Law Master of Arts Program at Universidad Iberoamericana Plantel Noroeste including international business transactions and corporate law.

 

He has contributed as a legal assistant since 1994 for the law firms of "Almaraz y Asociados S.C." and later with "Castrejón, Espinoza y Torres S.C.". He has also worked as a Secretariat Official on both civil and criminal matters at Rosarito's Trial Court for Civil and Criminal Matters. His wide experience as a true advocate as enabled him to stand out from others alike and specialize in civil, commercial and labor litigation, successfully representing in Court numerous companies and individuals with legal problems in Mexico. As co-founder of "Hernandez & Hurtado S.C.", he has brought assistance and advise on cases of different nature including real estate, torts, contractual disputes, employers liability and commercial transactions among others.

 

Mr. Hurtado is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Due to his duties and restrictions as a public official, Mr. Hurtado is not currently active as an inside counsel with "Hernandez, Mérigo & Hurtado S.C." nor does he participate on the Firm's current business, however, he does contribute as an of-counsel with his advise only, on issues that fall within his expertise.
